The Foundation is in honour of the late MAMA MAGDALENA NDEDA, who knew well the value of Education and made sure that her beloved son who through his sincerity in life and his love for Christ managed to study hard and finally graduated with Doctorate in Canon Law from Rome. Fr.Dr.Charles K'Ochiel who is today a dedicated and respected priest, made a  lasting decision to dedicate his life to Christ, and has committed himself to continue with the work of his late loving mother of giving care and providing love to those who need it most.

Track Record

Mamandef Foundation as a brain child of Fr. Dr. Charles K’Ochiel . The foundation has an excellent track record since 2004, of delivering and implementing aid, and providing food, education, medical care for over 120 children from poor families orphaned children and vulnerable young people.

Mission
Supporting orphans and vulnerable children affected by extreme poverty and HIV/ AIDS to acquire education for positive growth and sustainable development. Working with the youngest and most vulnerable, the children, Mamandef Foundation provides community-based development programs, humanitarian aid, health care and education to hose who need it most and cant a ford it. Our programs are designed to give hope to street children, orphans and vulnerable children. We serve children without discrimination of race, religion, or sex. We aim to create partnerships between communities, youth groups and schools Ugenya District and beyond

Aims
We aim to create an environment in Ugenya, where all children are valued, respected, listened to and where opportunities are created for all our children.

Goals
To empower the vulnerable groups, particularly children through formal / non- formal education and healthcare support. We promote the development of medical, community and humanitarian aid programs that continue to increase self-sufficiency and permanent change in Ugenya District. Mamandef Foundation is all about joint solutions and permanent solutions, working together with other children service providers and local communities.
