There are more than 1 million orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya. Most have been abused, or neglect.They are the poorest of the poor--begging and living desperate conditions They are dirty, hungry, and sick. They have been robbed of their childhood. They are unwanted most people simply don't care.

But together we can make a difference! You can be part of transforming these children's lives from hopelessness and desperation to hope, opportunity, and promise.

Since 2004 Manandef Foundation has been working to improve the welfare of these  children in Ugenya Disatrict of Nyanza Province:
· Provides a safe place for them to learn; giving them food, clothing, and medical care
· Shares the love of Jesus and the life-changing message of the Gospel
· Operates a Pri-Primary ,Nursary and primary  school to educate and equip children to live productive, meaningful lives. Qualifying children are provided with High School and advanced education. Some are given vocational training, enabling them to provide for themselves and become independent.

We need individuals, families, and groups to partner with us in bringing help and hope to needy street children. You can help make a difference! The sponsorship program is intended to achieve two important objectives:First, it connects each child with a loving, supportive sponsor. Second, the program helps fund a portion of the on-going expenses associated with Mamandef Foundation provides for the children. 

Mamandef sponsorship program 

Child sponsorship program is intended to be a blessing both to the boy and the sponsor. We ask our sponsors to:

·  Communicate regularly and offer advice to their sponsored child. Mamandef Foundation can help with the child's physical needs and can provide counseling and support
·  Contribute a minimum of $ 35 per month to Mamandef Foundation to help pay for the ongoing cost of caring for the child in pre-unit and primary school.

The costs to care for each child vary significantly, depending upon each child's needs. Therefore, our Sponsorship Program may assign  multiple sponsors to those children whose care costs more than the basic $ 35 sponsorship amount. If you would like to contribute more than one sponsorship unit on a monthly basis, you are welcome to do so.

Mamandef Foundation’s Sponsorship Program covers children in a variety of categories:

· Children with parents but extremely poor
· Children who have completed our Primary School and are attending High School or other academic training like University.
· Children who are total orphans
